Community Service

Skulls believe that service to the campus and community you live in is incredibly important; as part of that, Phi Kappa Sigma members regularly volunteer in local service organizations, as well as raise money for local charities and our national charity, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Whether it’s an annual charity event, volunteering at a local shelter, or just cleaning up the campus, service is a large part of what being a Skull is all about. Skulls know that one person can make a difference, but an entire Chapter working together can make a huge impact in the community.

As a result:

  • Phi Kappa Sigma members perform over 20,000 hours of volunteer service annually.
  • Phi Kappa Sigma members have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society over the last twenty years.
  • Over $7 million of philanthropic fundraising is raised each year by Greeks nationally.
  • The Greek system is the largest network of volunteers in the US, with members donating over 10 million hours of volunteer service each year.
