When it comes to academics, Skulls have better GPAs than other students on campus, because academics is one of the core founding principles of Phi Kappa Sigma, and we’re committed to making each other better. You’ve seen other students on campus, trying to figure it all out on their own in a demanding new environment far from home… some do better than others, but it’s not easy. You can always choose to go at it alone – or you can choose to surround yourself with brothers committed to helping you out, just as you would help them if asked. Nobody in your dorm will be committed to being there for you like Skulls will. And did we mention that the Phi Kappa Sigma Educational Foundation gives out more scholarships to Skulls than any other fraternity?
As for leadership skills, Skulls are the men you see on your campus leading student organizations, volunteering in their community and around campus, or running philanthropy events to benefit our national charity, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Even if you have done those things lately… Skulls do them every week.
What about our social life? Unbeatable. We work hard so we can play hard! Our members plan parties, road trips, date nights, formal and semi-formal events, tailgate with alums on game day, mix with sororities, and visit other Chapters on other campuses. Sometimes it’s just something as simple as playing some pickup basketball, catching a movie, or hanging out at the Chapter house. Whatever it is, Skulls make sure that they’re having a great time.
